The Legacy of the List #4

Wheeee... It's list time again. Today I will feature: A List of Annoying Habits of my dad. {I'm sure he'll take it lightly.}
  • his compulsive ways of always pressing the "skip" button when listening to music. a song never gets finished.
  • the other button he is always compulsively pushing when watching TV would be the "guide" button. never do I get a break of looking at that stupid blue screen when he's got the remote.
  • always leaving the phone away from his ear when dialing. {apparently it's got something to do with radiation.} it takes 2 minutes for him EACH TIME to realize that I've already picked up and was waiting for him to answer since he called in the first place. do I need to keep a tally of these occurrences?
  • always being erroneous when calculating time intervals.
  • stashing tissues in his pockets. he rarely remembers to take them out.
  • talking in half-sentences.

The last two are rather mild, actually.

Well since it would be unfair if I didn't make one for my mom and myself, I shall do that in the near future.

NO, THE FACT THAT I MADE THIS LIST FIRST HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH ANYTHING. I ONLY REMEMBERED BECAUSE A SAW A TV REMOTE, AND YOU GET THE POINT. You guys think too much.

Ha, it's be funny if you {Dad or Mom} found this several years later, {since you don't read it regularly}. That's what you get for not reading when I ask. :P

Speech Recognition

Right now I am using speech recognition and it really works well on Internet explorer. Otherwise, it kind of sucks. For example, when I tried to use it on Safari it didn't work at spell I suppose you could say that is faster except the computer makes a lot of mistakes. You really have to know what you are talking about, which I don't. Ah, it just took me 5 minutes to spell "about". And now it is taking me 10 minutes to write this entire post. Oh, joy. I am so tired. I think I will stop now.
Ah, seriously, that took FOREVER. O_o
I'm still getting used to the whole "microphone" thing, and this thing is like totally a stranger to me. Gotta do more of that training thing...
Well it kind of sucks that I can't use Safari with it. My IE always lags...

Browsing...

I went to a bookstore today {it was a messy one too}. You want to guess what I found?
It was one of those yellow books, you know the ones that are called, BLAHBLAH for Dummies ? Yeah, those stupid books. Except it wasn't just the usual BLAHBLAH, it was a funny BLAHBLAH.
Something like WordPress for Dummies.
HA! Can you imagine that? {In case you didn't know, WordPress is a site that hosts blogs and is kind of like BlogSpot but not quite the same.}
Well anyway, I flipped through the book, and it was very, very, VERY well suited for a dummy. No offense but, it was talking about WHAT BUTTON TO PRESS.
I mean,
COME ON.
Then they had some stupid stuff... But most of all the reason why I didn't like it was for the fact that it was WordPress. I looked at some before, and they looked so-so, but the only thing that made it repulsive was the advertisements. Have I mentioned how annoying they are? Ugh, horrible.
It makes WordPress horrible too.

SO TIRING!

Well, remember when I was talking about how I was discovering all these new things from Google? That exploration sure has been developing. Ralph and I have recently created a new blog {with a co-author, hopefully this time they DO post...} and also a Group. {I don't think I'm really going to introduce other to Ralph on those other pages, he's too special.} :) But actually both of those are under construction, so the URLs will not be publicly revealed. I'm just saying this 'cause it's fun telling people about things, then not really telling them about it. :D
Personally, Google is like super awesome with all its cool stuff. But I swear the programs can get SOOOO annoying sometimes..
Like for example: This blog right here. The spacing. How long it takes me to MAKE THE ENTER KEY WORK. {sigh..*}
I've been kinda having problems with the Groups pages. They won't let me save! Won't! Let! Me! SAVE! Very, very, aggrivating indeed. Takes at least 50 tries or so to change the name and address. Ugh.
However, we all know that one who appreciates is one who is satisfied. This stuff really is great, so I shouldn't complain too much. {but still.}
Have fun not seeing my new sites. :D

Progress Update

Just checking in here, with myself, of the new writer's notebook thingy! :) I've given up the part about the whole "bring it everywhere" thing, kinda annoying now. BUT, im still writing in it almost everyday, so i guess im making up for it. Im practicing writing really REALLY long entries so far, and it'll help my writing hand. I've boxed all the things that i think should be blog topics, so hopefully now i'll have more interesting stuff to write about. [Or rather, its ironic the fact that i'm saying i'll have better things to write about, when i am writing about the actual event of me brainstorming for things to write about. That sort of takes away the whole point of me talking about it out loud. Then again, you'll never know if i dont say it, right? Well, i guess you really dont need to know that... Gah! Voluntary information is always unnecessary.] Anyways, Ralph will always be there to support me. Haha. :] [Launches tomato at reader*]
