Talking to Myself #1

I like talking to myself. Somehow it just feels... like I'm talking to myself. :]
Oh, and the cool thing about it is, you don't have to make sense.
At all.
{Hey look, those are some pretty cupcakes!}
Just like how I am when I'm blogging.
Isn't that cool?
:D
Except... there are times when you don't catch yourself talking to yourself, so you don't really notice it when people stare at you weird and slowwwyyy waaalllkkkk aawwwaaaaayyyy.
Yeah.

Uh, Wow?

I can't believe it, but I have to say this:
I am being slightly somewhat of a traitor to Blogger.
{Gasp!*}
Yea. I am.
But seriously? There's this really cool blogging site {which name I am not going to mention since I don't want to be any more of a traitor}, and they have THE awesomest templates. Yes, I'd go there for the templates. Who wouldn't?
So this is just kind of announcing, I'm only testing it out right now, I'm not saying I'm going to delete this. Of course not! I've spent too much time putting up with it. I refuse.
The Internet is a vast and amusing playground...go explore! Don't spend all day here, ugh that would be so pointless. Ralph agrees with me.

Goodreads

So you know, I was doing my usual browsing... when I came upon a new website {new indicating I had never seen it before}. http://www.goodreads.com/ It's really cool! So how it works, is: You create an account. You create a profile. You add books to your lists. You can write reviews for books. You can give a book a rating. You can explore new books. You can find out what your friends are reading. {You can make up your lists, or you can choose from "read, currently reading, or to-read."} You make friends. You create groups. You join groups. You can even WRITE your own stuff on there. It is SOOOO cool, I tell you. Hmmmm. Do I see anybody interested? No, of course I'm not giving you my profile address. Puh-shaw. :P If you are bored, and have lots of time, and is already done with blogging for the day, you should go ahead and make an account if you don't have one, and add some books! Wheeeeeeeeeeeee...! Ralph likes to say that alot. Who knew breads had a high pitched voice? Hm.

Highlight of the Day

So while I was brushing my teeth I decided to have a little chat with my mom. I always brush out of the bathroom. :)
Me: Hey mom, what's your favorite movie?
Mom: Hm... well I have lots.
Me: Just name one of them.
Mom: Umm... Gone With the Wind.

Me: AHAHAHAHAHAHA.. {part where I start cracking up}

Mom: What's so funny?

Me: Well there's all these movies these days that you've watched... and you pick such an old one! How classic. :)

Mom: ...

Me: That SO goes on my blog!

And, there you have it. Make any sense? No, of course not. You should NEVER expect that from my posts. I should write a list of rules... Hm... Remind me later, Ralph. :)

Recently Read Books #1

This one day I was reading a book called White Magic, and I was totally offended by it. {Ralph agrees with me.} It's about these girls who form a witch coven, and things happen between the friends. The coven is not exactly Wicca, but it's good magic. Well, in the story when someone joins the coven they gave rules to follow if one wished to be in the coven. One of them was: no blogging. When I read that, I was like GASP!!! with the extra exclamation marks. I was absolutely horrified/insulted. The reason for the rule was that blogging "gives away a part of you" or something like that. Then I wondered: do I give away myself on my blog? Weird thing to blog about, huh? Well, since I'm so confident that no one's reading this anyway, I'll just keep blabbing. Personally, I think I'm blogging about nothing. At least, nothing of significance. I just want to look back at this some day, when I'm all old and stuff, and see what kinds of things I thought about when I was young. Kind of like an electronic journal. But cooler than that 'cause it's Google and it's on the internet. {Unless, for some stupid reason, Blogger's system crashes and all of this is gone forever. But I don't like to think about that.} Paper is so temporary, changes are hard to make, waste of ink if you want to print pictures and all. I've thought about like a personal journal, but that's no fun because you're just writing stuff that only you are going to read because it's so personal or something. Knowing that you are going to share it makes you feel like you want to put something interesting, right? {Sorry for being rediculous, I just watched some documentary on philosophy or something, it's messing with my brain.} Back to the book. It was pretty good, and involved a lot of poetry. The spells were really cool, and some parts of it were kind of funny. The author is Kelly Easton, incase you want to read it sometime. {It's a young-adult book.} Of course, I have nothing to do with the publishing/selling of this book or anything, and I'm not trying to get you to buy it. I hate salesmen/infomercials. O_o Just go to the library. Duh. :)

Merry Christmas!

Yay! It's Christmas! Except I'm not really that excited. It's just fun pretending to be excited for a holiday. :] At least we get winter break to spend time with.. "family"? Hm. I don't know. We don't have a tree this year, we don't have a tree any year! Not really a tree type of person. More like a, "let's be joyous and merry and spend our weekend at Vegas!" type of thing. Of course, that is absolutely, totally, against my will. Duh. Let's just say we "had" a tree... Pretend is fun. :]
I must be so pathetic huh, posting on my blog on Christmas.. Ha.... :D Well I did do some other stuff today, like cook for dinner. Cooking is fun too. :]
No tree = No presents. {Yes, I know..} Oh, well. Who needs those things anyway. :]
My imaginary stockings:
Ralph and I sent you our warmest Christmas wishes!

Future Time Capsule #1

Yay I'm making a time capsule! WHEEEEEEEEEEE! Yes, I know, I know... HI FUTURE SELF! I EXPECT YOU NOW TO BE:
a) Laughing your head off
b) Bewildered at the fact that this blog still exists
c) Trying to panickly close the window so you won't have to see this
d) Wondering why you have unfaithfully abandoned this wonderful time-keeping blog..
{Sigh*} We'll never know what'll happen to this, will we?
Well, I'll keep leaving these thingies for you, future self. Have fun trying to kill yourself from embarassment. :]
Sincerely,
- Your Past Self
