Huzzah!

A brand new start {blah, I don't care if it's late at night}. Anyway, I gots a clean room today, I think it was kind of supposed to be that way last week.. heh heh. I did indeed receive some help from my mom. Thanks. No better way to say it than on the Internet. :)
MISSION "GET SERIOUS" STARTING NOW. Early sleep. I've been talking about if for a while. Hah.
Flute lesson went okay today. Still need to practice more. {I kind of noticed that 4/7 days isn't really that great...}
There's this bird noisily chirping outside right now. {above picture is not the real one. but it's still purty.} Dad reports that her children have been missing. One of our neighors found them, and put them in a box. One of them got ran over by a car {tsk, tsk}, and the other walked away on its own... SO NOW the mother is certainly very worried and has been chirping for a while... even though it's 9 at night. Hopefully the other one didn't get ran over?
I need to get ready for summer. Got big plans this year...

A Day in Events #4

Ah... It's a beautiful day today. Too bad you missed it. Pity Ralph and I spent most of it indoors.

In the morning, I woke up kind of late, but eventually did when my parents turned the volume of their music too loud. {Yes, they have a bad taste in music, and we also have a very loud sound system. Darn that techonology.} It was a bit whoozy...and then I remembered I had a class today! {insert surprised face here} I had to do a lot of stuff, including reviewing those 110 vocabulary words that I was going to get tested on. It was getting kind of quiet, so I turned on the music. Popped in a Tchaikovsky CD {how the heck does anyone spell his name?}, Nutcracker Suite and ect. But then I realized my REMOTE RAN OUT OF BATTERIES. I threw a fit, except nobody was really listening, so it was pointless and just made my throat sore. {I guess bad music makes people fussy..?} Well anyways, I have to remember to replace the battery. {Anyone recycle any batteries lately?} I had lunch {noodles!}, but then the egg was all squishy and uncooked... My dad gave excuses like, "Well maybe they were frozen really bad..." or "I think it was because of the cold soup that I pour on it after..." Has anybody seen the egg prices these days? Such an increase..! Then it was finally time for my tutoring class, I think I did pretty well with the vocabulary test {only missed 2}. However, I forgot one of my homework assignments {read chapter 3!} Ah.... what a pity. Now I have to finish 1 essay, 1 revision, and 2 more chapters of vocabulary {and read chapter 3!}. Remind me before I forget! :) The cable guy came today {isn't it funny how they're called "cable guys"? who wants to be called that?} and he finally fixed our phone. It's even more absurd that its our HOME PHONE. How in the world does a home phone not work? My dad got kind of frustrated because he didn't take off his shoes. He should have taken off his shoes. Tsk, tsk... Then out comes the vacuum cleaner! Him and his vacuum cleaner. After tutoring and after cable guy left, we played some badminton! Have I ever said anything about how awesome badminton is? IT'S MY FAVORITE SPORT. Except today when we played, I got all dizzy. The wind was really big too, so I was probably out there for 45 seconds. {wow, that is a LOT of exercise!} Usually when there are no stupid gusts of wind, it's really fun and enjoyable. SOMEBODY KILL THE WIND SO I CAN PLAY BADMINTON! Br... The wind was really cold too. coldcoldcold. But if summer winds are warm, then why do fans in the summer cool you down? Hm. I should look that up. The highlight of the day {not really}: I PRACTICED FLUTE! WAAAHOO! And for 45 minutes straight too. Aren't you proud of me? :) I have got to say, my embrochure was getting weak. I have class tomorrow, need to practice those darn pieces! Scales are still harder though.. Have you tried the 2 octave ones? Run out of breath so quickly. {sigh..*} Then, after I finished, I cleaned the thing, interior and exterior, with my special cleaning cloths! :D

Some more animal crossing... I've got no more fruit to pick!

I was called to dinner, and it seems my nose has failed me.

Me: Do we have shrimp tonight?

Mom: No. Lotus roots.

Me: Oh.

We got a call from a book store too. {Our phone's fixed! :)}

Dad made some weird kind of soup with taro in it, and he was talking about how good it was.

Dad: Really! This is good! It's taro! It's like ice cream!

Me: Please don't make me barf.

Yop, that was our fairly entertaining dinner.

Then I did some coloring, {applying wax on paper is SO FUN!} some charcoal stuff, and some fossil digging {animal crossing, again}. It's still very cold. O_o

To Do List #1

As of now I am playing Animal Crossing {puh-shaw, homework isn't as important as that :P}. Well, as you all know, it's like FRIDAY! which might as well be renamed as "Animal Crossing Day" or "Movie Night." The latter applies more to me. Anyways.... I often find it hard to concentrate and to remember what to do everyday {Ralph has a bad memory too}, so I might as well make a To Do List. Of course, writing it down on paper is like SOO RHETRO, {haha} but it always gets lost somewhere with my other piles of paper on my desk... plus I don't like writing with pencil too much, and wite-out is really obnoxious. I'd then have to go through SOOO much time just to find a piece of paper. I suppose I could do it on a Word Document or something... but this is much more funner. :)

Friday 1/25/08 To-Do List

Animal Crossing:

pick fruit {coconuts, oranges, peaches, cherries, apples, pears}

go shopping for furniture {Nook + Able}

pull out all weeds

water flowers

talk to neighbors

Homework:

tree project

study vocabulary

read

essay

revise another essay

practice music

Er... that list looks awfully long.. WHATEVER SHALL I DO?!

Hm...

So just now, I found this cool carpet in Nook's 2nd floor, it's called "illusion floor." I accidentally bought it by accident... heh heh... My closets are like SO FULL I probably don't have anywhere to put it. Hmph.

There was this other cool item in the clothing shop, called a "grandpa hat." It's really cute/stylish/whateveryoucallit, and I do count of buying it later.

I NEED TO PAY OFF LIKE all MY MORTGAGE! I want a second floor sooo badly you must have no idea. Ugh. Stupid Nook. Let's boycott him. ARE YOU WITH ME?

Lots of coconut trees are successful... YES! More fruit =more bells. MUAHAHAHHAHAHAHAH!

The Clashes Between Evil and Good!

Let's take a guess at what i'm talking about. Peace vs. war? The bond market vs. the stock market? The angels vs. the devils? The Angels vs. the Dodgers? Vampires vs. werewolves? Pie vs. cake? Vanilla vs. chocolate? Puppies vs. kitties? PCs vs. laptops? Film vs. SD cards? Water vs. fire? Oh, this is going on forever. Why dont i just get to the point. Im talking about the clashes between BAND AND ORCHESTRA! It is a known fact that people in Band and people in Orchestra are always contradictory against each other, and it is inevitable. [Of course, choir isnt part of this since it doesnt come close to either band or orchestra. Full orchestras and jazz bands are also excluded.] Often, Band people are proud of the fact that they are the gatherers of attention, that they play loud enough for the audience to hear, as well as enjoy their arousing music. Meanwhile, Orchestra people can play at soft sounds, and create different moods that dazzle the listeners. It's the woodwinds, brass, and percussion against the strings. Which is better? Well, if you asked a Band member, of course they would say Band. The reasons? They would respond the reasons i have stated about. If i asked an Orchestra member, they would say Orchestra, and also for the reasons i have stated above. [It's a mutal thing.] However, no matter how different Band and Orchestra may seem, we often do stuff together, like performances. I mean, it's all just music right? People in these groups hang out with each other, and its like just a HUGE family. Of course, with the complications. [Those are inevitable.] So, in conclusion, i would like to say that...BAND ROCKS!! :) [slap* from Orchestra member] OWOWOWOW... ok ok..fine. They're both awesome, which is true. Its just that sometimes our ego gets in the way of how we get along. [Of course, we never really did get along in the beginning...] :] *note: Yes, i am in Band. And if by any chance someone wants to comment on that...well...just make sure its a nice comment. *note: Yep, there was a co-author to this post. Her name is Jennifish, and she's an Orchestra member. So is Ralph. He plays his huge bass bread. *note: Jennifish whisphers: "ORCHESTRA ROCKS!!" [gets kicked in the shin by me*] "OWOWOWOW...not." *note: Uh, i need to work on my attacking skills.
