The Fish, the Ice Cream, and the Smoothie

I'm back from the restaurant! We actually ate out today. Blech.
Japanese food. Hm, that's rare.
Parents and I went with my uncle. I ordered some beef pan fried noodles, but hey, guess what? It tasted like fish. So I stated this gruesome taste and my parents looked at me like I was delusional. Hmp.
After some sushi rolls and half a cup of iced water, the waiter comes by and asks how we're doing. Seeing my almost full plate of noodles, he then asks about how they were. My parents confront him about the fishy taste, and he tells them that there were some shavings of dried fish scales on there.
HA. AND YOU THOUGHT I WAS KIDDING. THAT'S WHAT YOU GET FOR NOT TRUSTING PEOPLE.
Well anywhoo he showed us the stuff that was sprinkled on top and he looked distressed about our response to the food. Actually, he was very distressed the whole evening. He said sorry around fifty times, even though there was nothing he should've been sorry about. I think he's just paranoid.
So, 5 minutes later, the waiter guy comes with a small bowl of ice cream, even though we hadn't ordered any. Raspberry. With little chunks in it. With a small spoon. I think he felt sorry for me about the whole fishy noodle thing.
If I do end up a waitress or some other service person in a business, I'll be sure to write about all the deranged people that come. Well, I guess it depends if they do come. -__-
Ice cream! It was yummy. >:]
What is with it when my parents keep reading my conversations? >:[ So nozy. What does it matter to you if I happen to be chatting about fish with someone?
But now my dad's smoothie totally ruined the ice cream taste. Ugh, I hate these SMOOTHIES! Especially when they contain expired yogurt.

Talking to Myself

Alas, we have no more ice cream. I'm to starve all these evenings, with no dessert to fill my hungry stomach. Why must there be no ice cream for me to eat on these evening when I am hungriest? I've just come to realize that ice can be a bit bland sometimes. Rather, my mouth goes numb for a tiny bit and I can't really taste anything. What a bummer.

I Don't Think She Noticed

A couple days ago my mom was criticizing me about how my blog posts are too long + blabby. Well, if you looked at the first few couple of posts, I suppose they are. HOWEVER, I must say that in defense, my posts are now a lot less blabby {if that is a word anymore}.
Alas, I have looked back {and it sorrows me to say I even typed that}. Oh, well. :D
You know how sometimes I keep losing track of time and suddenly I think "WAIT WHAT I THOUGHT IT WAS STILL OCTOBER!" Because it's almost May. O_o I suppose that looking back at whatever stupid little thing that happened before comforts me for the fact the aliens did indeed not steal all my time. I just happened to have wasted it. :)
I was supposed to get ice cream today... -__- Stupid lines.

Cold, oh so Cold...

Ahhhh... Ralph and I are currently wanting for some good, old, cold ice cream. Even if it's still cold. Oh, well. The memory of those nights, when the fridge was choc-full of that stuff... and eating it before bed... Oh, how we miss you. But apparently we have none of that. All we have is some stupid yogurt. Which is definitely not as good, as the lovely ice cream. We miss you! Come back! {sniffle, sniffle*} Not fair.

Happy Valentine's Day

Wheeeeeeeeee.. It's Valentine's Day. Yippee. Wahoo. O_o This so called holiday, or as my teacher says, "commercial holiday", is upon us. Let us all celebrate. O_o It's pink/red and hearts all over. I refuse, REFUSE to put gushy hearts on this post. Haha. Yep. Um... ok never mind. These just look too good.

Wheeeee.....

Ralph and I wishes everyone a happy Valentine's Day {as much as we are slightly aggrivated by it}!

The Legacy of the List #3

The most horrible ice cream flavors:
  • black walnut {deranged vanilla + walnuts = doom}
  • vanilla and chocolate chip {much much worse than plain vanilla}

I don't do so well with vanilla.

This list will be continually updated {as you can see, it is very short}.

MY PAPER! [Evil Grin*] BUAHAHAHAH!

Its kinda funny that most readers, when reading off an internet page that they are browsing or when reading the newpaper, dont exactly bother to read in DETAIL what is being said. So, if i decided to ramble on, and on, you probably wouldnt remember what i was talking about a few lines ago, or wouldnt care because none of it really makes sense. Or rather, this would be the most likely one, nobody would be reading this. O_o Anyways, the inexistent reader would probably stop about... -now-, considering it would be the point where im just rambling to myself. However, it is a bad example with my blog - most of it doesnt make sense - but if, lets say, one were reading a news article, there is just... no attraction to the page. It suddenly gets boring, even if the topic isnt. Could it be something with the screen? Does bright lights cause you to not want to read as much? I dont know how people usually read, but I often loose interest soon. [And im getting more and more self-concious by the minute...] Im gonna go eat some ice cream with Ralph now. BRAIN FREEZE! :]

[Sneeze*]

[Sniffles*..] Oh, Im sorry. I seem to be having a cold today. Sort of. Since it's so cold. Excuse me... [blows nose loudly so everyone can hear*..] I was thinking today, while sitting there with Ralph, and it just occured to me that... well, im not sure i know how to say this but... the term "oblivious" is contradicting itself. [Looks sideways skeptically*..] So, if you're describing a event that is something oblivious... it's kinda pointless to say that, since if SUPPOSED to be oblivious. But then again, if you dont point it out, then you will never get to use such a cool word, or show that you know how to use the word, or something. But, pointing out that something is oblivious, totally ruins the fact that it is, because after it is pointed out, then it WONT be oblivious anymore because it has been realized already, and therefore is not being ignored. [Circular reasoning... is inevitable. Blame the keyboard.] Still, its SUCH a cool word, so you just WANT to use it. However, it's one of those words that arent very good to use, because it doesnt make sense if you use it on yourself. For example, if i say: "You know, I really think im quite oblivious to the fact that my teachers arent as bad as i think they are." [Sorry, bad example. Im bad at examples. Its a "me" thing.] So, saying that wouldnt really get you anywhere, except maybe on the road of self-discovery or something. But, its just like i always seem to be OBLIVIOUS to the fact that when i use the word OBLIVIOUS its very pointless. [GAH! I have bad logic skills. This has just turned into a conversation with myself, no need for you to pay attention. Just stare at the pictures or something.] A lot of times when the word is used, it just seems so... IRONIC. The fact that the event is oblivious to someone is suddenly revealed, and that word will not have done anything. Or maybe my thinking's just weird. Well, here's another example: "You know, that cat is really oblivious to the fact that the food is right under her nose, yet she is still begging for food." Ok well, that didnt really make sense either, but you can see that it is used in a different way, to describe someone else instead of yourself. Does this make any difference? I have no idea. But somehow, there's a difference to me between discovering something about someone else, and then discovering something about yourself and then telling it to someone else. Do you think there is a difference? [Scratches head*] Maybe it has something to do about exposing something - it matters more to yourself that you share something about yourself that you didnt know before until you said it, rather than sharing something about someone else that you have recently discovered. Anyways... this has been an interesting road to self discovery... Good night everyone! I shall now go to enjoy my ice cream... :P
