Don't Give Me That (What She is Saying at the Moment)

Technically, the season of summer came a long time ago, but it's really not summer yet until school's out.
Did you know that I have summer homework? 3 books, and lots of assignments that come with it.
Oh well. At least it's better than last year, when we had to do 7 projects involving personal information as well as news article research + artistic/creative decorations. That was just plain horrible.
At least during the hot season I am permitted to enjoy some ice. Well, occasionally.

Current Project - Update #2

Objective: {Collect a waterbear. Kidding...} Convert MySpaceLosers (or plain non-MySpaceLosers) to become fellow blog buddies by teaching them the true meaning of the weblog, as well as learn the habit of consistency (by posting at least every other day).
  • Converts so far: 13-14?
  • Converts who seem to be keeping up the posting (AT LEAST every other day): ZERO.
  • Converts who seem to have given up posting: 13-14?!

I have utterly failed.

Talking to Myself

It's June already. I've got paint under my fingernails. My project/homework is taking forever to complete.

Current Project - Update #1

Objective: Convert MySpaceLosers (or plain non-MySpaceLosers) to become fellow blog buddies by teaching them the true meaning of the weblog, as well as learn the habit of consistency (by posting at least every other day).

  • Converts so far: 13
  • Converts who seem to be keeping up the posting (AT LEAST every other day): 1-1.5 who are serious about it? MAYBE EVEN LESS.
  • Converts who seem to have given up posting: 5-6??!

My, my, what horrible news.

Did you know 'blog' was short for 'weblog'? Hm. I just found that out a while ago.

Current Project

Objective: {Take over the world. Kidding...} Convert MySpaceLosers (or plain non-MySpaceLosers) to become fellow blog buddies by teaching them the true meaning of the weblog, as well as learn the habit of consistency (by posting at least every other day). Converts so far: 13 Converts who seem to be keeping up the posting (AT LEAST every other day): 4-5 Converts who seem to have given up posting: 4-5? I have to say, this wasn't too successful. Oh well. :]
Of course, this is not a school related project. Duh. Our teachers wouldn't be cool enough to tell us to do these things. *sigh...*

The Art of Restart

So remember there was this one time when I was talking about how horrible restarting was..?
No, of course not.
Well anyway, yesterday, I was working on my project (it's this model thing that's supposed to be 3-D). And, when I finished, it was HORRIBLE. It really wasn't too great, and I really wasn't too happy. 2 seconds later, BAM I'm starting on a new one. I finished it in about... oh... 3-4 hours.
Did I mention this was the day before the project was due? O_o
So, my point is, I meant to correct my earlier statement (since I'm not going to bother going through the trouble of going back to the post and editing it... ugh). No, restarting is not ALWAYS a bad thing, only when you do it without a full purpose. Wait, what does that mean?

Um. Wow. So, THIS Is Entertainment

Haha, I'm watching TELEVISION RIGHT NOW.
Television.
Goodness, laptops are so convenient. :)
Um well, in the past 5 seconds, somebody lifted a fridge, sang into a ventilation tube-thingy, broke a hole through a wall, and then screamed at a roly poly. WOW. ISN'T THIS FUN.
Nah, I'm joking. They aren't that bad.....
OH WAIT, HEY LOOK, THEY'RE TRYING TO PULL SOME GUY OUT OF THIS VENT. Ahaha.
Okay, there's a drama moment.
You know, I bet people have a LOT more fun making these things than having the people watch them. Seriously. Wouldn't YOU have fun making a TV-something?
Bah, I have all these stupid projects to work on. Involving paper.
Isn't THAT a surprise?

A Comfy Chair

*Sigh...* It gets so woozy when the weather is warm {or at least starting to get warm}. This project of "daily blogging" is obviously ruined. Even if I do try to pick up the pieces, I would be really, really, old. Why am I always thinking of the impossible.
Anyway, I went to a presentation from an author today, and thought about how she had written books, most of which were three hundred pages. So I though, "Hm, if she can write that much, I guess I do my best..."
So, yet again, I am here, sitting in my not-so-comfortable chair, making a fool of myself.
Ha, thank goodness nobody reads this thing.
Also... she was talking about how she can't write without having chocolate on hand. Wow, is that funny. I'm eating Toblerone right now. :D
I have some more challenging coloring work to do. Plus, I really need to catch up on the 100 something days I had missed... In addition, I should really stop with all the transitional phrases. I STRONGLY BELIEVE THAT THEY ARE GETTING TO MY HEAD!

A Few Moments Ago...

I had this panic moment when I realized my case of color pencils wouldn't open
and I was like,
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
because I dearly, dearly needed them for a stupid project.
So I rushed to my Dad.
I had some soup.
He opened the case.
And I'm perfectly fine now.
:D

Complain, Complain, Please Ignore

Well it is inevitable anyway, so I'm just going to complain some more {mostly about lack of efficiency}. Today was such a waste of time and I am so dissapointed ---> therefore I shall use excessive italics, please beware. I was doing homework the whole afternoon, but I took forever because I kept side-tracking myself {I don't know how} and it really wasted a lot of time. Ugh there is so much stuff to do and I DIDN'T FINISH! Tomorrow is tutoring, Sunday is flute class, I need to practice a bit more... I've got several projects to do, and a lot of weekend homework. I actually don't mind the fact that I have to do all this work, but I do mind the fact that I take forever and am never able to finish in the time I'm supposed to! Ralph has recently been complaining about how short my posts are these days. Ralph, I apologize. The blender frapreed my brain. Sorry about that.

Apologies

{Sigh..*} I was feeling slightly bad in the morning, since the night prior the stupid Monopoly game with my friends was so darn fun, which resulted in a late night. {Ralph went to bed early, he doesn't like staying up on Fridays for some reason.} They stayed kind of late, and I totally forgot to do the project thingy and all the other stuff I wrote down yesterday. Actually, I just felt like relaxing because of this project for a competition... It turns out that it's due a MONTH earlier than it was, and I was told last minute that I had minus ONE MONTH of time. This resulted in my rush of work, and I had to push aside everything. It was due Friday {yesterday} and I turned it in. I was in a very good mood after that, so I invited over some people, we watched some movies {good and bad} and played Monopoly which was very VERY fun {it ends from there}. Then, I realize I had finished none of my homework for my extracurricular classes, and I had to cancel. Therefore, I would like to make an international world wide web apology. {Yes I know, very official.} On behalf of my irresponsible behavior, I would like to apologize to my friends {who stayed up very late with me and possibly got in trouble}, my parents {for staying up so late and not really keeping track of the things I was supposed to do}, and my writing tutor {for having to cancel last minutes because I didn't really have time to focus on the homework since I was spending so much time to finish the big project for the competition}. Phew. That's over.

To Do List #1

As of now I am playing Animal Crossing {puh-shaw, homework isn't as important as that :P}. Well, as you all know, it's like FRIDAY! which might as well be renamed as "Animal Crossing Day" or "Movie Night." The latter applies more to me. Anyways.... I often find it hard to concentrate and to remember what to do everyday {Ralph has a bad memory too}, so I might as well make a To Do List. Of course, writing it down on paper is like SOO RHETRO, {haha} but it always gets lost somewhere with my other piles of paper on my desk... plus I don't like writing with pencil too much, and wite-out is really obnoxious. I'd then have to go through SOOO much time just to find a piece of paper. I suppose I could do it on a Word Document or something... but this is much more funner. :)

Friday 1/25/08 To-Do List

Animal Crossing:

pick fruit {coconuts, oranges, peaches, cherries, apples, pears}

go shopping for furniture {Nook + Able}

pull out all weeds

water flowers

talk to neighbors

Homework:

tree project

study vocabulary

read

essay

revise another essay

practice music

Er... that list looks awfully long.. WHATEVER SHALL I DO?!

Hm...

So just now, I found this cool carpet in Nook's 2nd floor, it's called "illusion floor." I accidentally bought it by accident... heh heh... My closets are like SO FULL I probably don't have anywhere to put it. Hmph.

There was this other cool item in the clothing shop, called a "grandpa hat." It's really cute/stylish/whateveryoucallit, and I do count of buying it later.

I NEED TO PAY OFF LIKE all MY MORTGAGE! I want a second floor sooo badly you must have no idea. Ugh. Stupid Nook. Let's boycott him. ARE YOU WITH ME?

Lots of coconut trees are successful... YES! More fruit =more bells. MUAHAHAHHAHAHAHAH!

Excuses, Excuses

Ah, it's been a while since i've been here, had to do a lot of catch-up work. [Yes, i treat this very seriously, like a job. Well of course, i'm my own boss, i get to write about anything, and nobody reads this anyway, maybe except Ralph, so i dont get pay.] :) It's winter, i'm cold, and i have about a thousand different excuses for why i haven't been writing recently. [Yes boss, forgive me!]
1. It's cold, my fingers lose energy and i lose my train of thought. They become all frozen, and i can't type properly. My brain just kinda goes into lag mode. Also, i keep having to add on more and more pieces of clothing, making it hard to complete my work since i can barely move. I feel like a puff ball.
2. I have a BUNCH of stuff to do. [That includes homework, homework, homework, homework, homework, homework, homework, homework, homework, homework, project, project, project, project, project, practicing that darn music, dissolving chocolate, and collecting fruit in AC.] It's just a never-ending list, and posting on my blog isn't exactly going to fit on there quite well.
3. There is like almost nothing to write about, since my "Writer's Notebook" operation is totally failing. Really horrible, one might say. I barely remember to write in it every few days, and not very many interesting topics occur to me while the pen is immobile in my grip. Not very inspirations from other places either. Winter just seems kind of dead. However, i must say that i am still writing in my journal. [You know, i really cant tell the difference between writing in the two. Except, one is a really bad spiral notebook, and the other is this huge binded book with smooth paper and pretty lines^^.] Anyways, im trying my hardest to keep detailed notes of my day so that when the government finds my diary they can publish it and i'll become famous when i'm dead! [Throws hands in the air*.] Yea, no.
4. Too many distractions on my computer. One minute i would be working on my blog, then the other minute i would be talking on some instant messaging program. Then playing some games. Then working on my website project. Then i'd be playing some more games. Before you know it, my time's all gone. So i end up not turning on the computer too often, i have lots of other stuff to do.
5. What can i say? It's gets tiring sometimes, i run out of energy to do anything, anything at all. [That excludes eating ice cream.] Lazy, i guess? It's a trait in everybody. EVERYBODY EXCEPT THOSE DARN PEOPLE WHO GET UP SO EARLY IN THE MORNING ON A DAILY BASIS! [Shakes fists at young people running around.*]
There, was that good enough for you? Ah, probably not. I have very high expectations from my boss. [wink*] Ok, that was really relieving for my writer's block. My fingers ARE getting cold...

Grand Pause*

PHEW! I FINALLY finished that darn project i have been working on for the past 3 days. This is a moment to remember. [grand pause*]
Ok, on with my life. :]
Right now im in the middle of constructing my "Group" and "Google Page". The Group is just for fun, like a little groupie [hence the name "Group"]. It's this cool feature they have on Google, and you could share it with your friends by adding them as members. The Google Pages thing is actually for my project, and I NEED TO WORK ON IT. A LOT. [Yep, i sure do have a lot of projects.] So people, i leave my life in your hands. REMIND ME TO WORK ON THE PROJECT! If not, you shall soon be receiving an invitation to my funeral. SOON. So, when i finally find the time to get those 2 sites interesting and full, i shall be adding them to my "links" sidebar. So much stuff to do these days... I think im JUST gonna take a little break... :)
[sign hung on door: OUT PLAYING MANCALA WITH RALPH. BE BACK SOON.]
